Steve Wozniak, Guy Kawasaki and a Lil’ White Laptop
Imagine our glee when we opened our email this morning and saw an email from Guy Kawasaki with a photo attached of him and Steve Wozniak on stage with the White Laptop. Gasp! Okay, breathe slowly, pass us a paper bag.
We knew the Laptop would attract some major tech celebs, but since we attended the Web 2.0 conference last week, the campaign really found the gas pedal, and we couldn’t be more excited. Not only are we making connections with people we look up to and dream of being best friends with, but we’re also going to raise money for a good cause in the end. Can we be on a more euphoric high? I think not!
Steve Wozniak not only co-founded Apple, but is a super hero to many-a tech wanna be and even to tech success stories. Having him add to the long list of people who signed last week at the conference adds more motivation to us to keep the Laptop moving and get signatures from more and more people who inspire us and you!

I got Woz to sign my 12″ Powerbook G4 at the 2600 HOPE (Hackers On Planet Earth) Conference in NYC back in 2004. The signature looks as good today as when it was fresh. It’s easily one of my favorite possessions. In fact, I recently purchased a safe, and one of the requirements was the powerbook had to easily fit inside.
